Plans to get some fresh air and spend time in the pampas of the Gironde

Many structures, such as the Gironde department, the Bordeaux Metropole or the associations for the protection of the environment, offer outdoor activities for the whole family. From this weekend there will be many events available in the Metropolitan area and throughout the Gironde.

The Gironde aims to protect and improve vulnerable natural areas (ENS). Offering, in particular, this weekend many “visits with free access or accompanied by naturalist guides” for the whole family. In the spring-summer 2022 season, the department will offer 3,000 events on its territory, which will allow the public to discover protected sites without forgetting the environment. These activities, mostly free of charge, will be provided by guides from the Department or partner structures.

Other structures offer excursions related to fauna and flora this season, such as the Bordeaux Métropole, which has just opened its Parc des Jalles, the environmental association Cistude Nature, or even SEPANSO (a federation of associations for the protection of nature and the environment in the New-Aquitaine region). A small selection of nature walks with the family to discover all aspects of the local fauna and flora.
