After a four-month off-season, racing will resume this Easter weekend at the Bord Vieille racecourse in Beaumont de Lomagne. The final preparations before the return of the public and the start of the season were formulated around 16 dates, including the fifth part of the PMU on 12 September.

The flood in Gimon forced us to restore the diner and resume painting at the bookmaker. We also plan to invest in a lift pump to pump out more water during the next floods, says Philippe Campan, who is in charge of the maintenance of the facility. In the off-season, we created a sand storage area on the track and installed a fiber optic network at the request of the State Unitary Enterprise and the Equidia TV channel. In 2022, the program will include eight premium races and eight regional races. The top of the season should be the five, scheduled for Monday, September 12th. Last year the South West Grand Prix took place, but not this year. The event, organized every four years in Board Vie, is the most popular meeting place for players and spectators.
Weekend program in Board Vie
In Beaumont de Lomagne, the racing season will resume as usual on the occasion of the Easter weekend at the Bord Vieille Racecourse. It will start on Sunday at 14:00 with a program of seven races.
The first race will be the Prix Dominik Cordeau with a €14,000 prize pool for 4 year old horses that win less than €800.
This will be followed by the Jean-Alain Olippe prize for 5-year-old horses that win less than €44,000 with a fall from 25 meters for €22,000. The third race will be the Maurice Roucolle Prize with a prize of €21,000 for horses aged 6, 7 and 8 who win less than €110,000.
This will be followed by the Marcel Duffaut Prize, which will be run by students. It is provided with €19,000 for horses aged 6, 7 and 8 who have not won €110,000. The Prix Jean Faure start, which will be autostarted, will end the meeting and will be provided with €5,500 autostarted and open to horses aged 6, 7 and 8 who have not won €65,000.
